In this Blog post, I am writing a WordPress Tutorial on Creating Tables in a Blog Post and Page Section.
There are 2 ways to do create and add Tables in WordPress:
- Using Gutenberg Editor ( WordPress Editor) / Without Plugin
- WordPress Plugin
We will be Using TablePress plugin to summon a table. As for without Plugin, it can be used using Block Editor features.
Adding a Table in WordPress without plugin
- Open Post/Page Seciton in WordPress
- Click on the + sign where you can find multiple features of wordpress options.
- Search for “Table” and select to create a Table.
- Select the No of Rows and Columns you want to add. For Example: 3×4 / 5×5 / 10×5
I have selected Columns 4 & Rows 2
Once you enter the number of rows and columns, select Create Table option and a Table will be added.
Enter whatever content you want to add in those cells.
This is how the Table looks like and you may select the number of rows and columns of your own wish to make it Big or Small.
Using a Worddpress Plugin
Here I am using TablePress wordpress plugin to add Table in a WordPress post.
Install the TablePress plugin and activate it.
you can create and manage tables in WordPress Dashboard.
Click on Add New bar and enter the Table title and number of rows and columns required, then click on Add
Table to save it
