Full Backup of WordPress means:

  1. Entire WordPress Database
  2. Themes and Plugins Configurations
  3. Post and Page Data
  4. WordPress Settings and SEO Functions

Earlier, when I used to run Websites ( WPNomadic and Seodumb ), I used to perform backups and migrations for lot of clients. This was back in 2017 and 2018. Now things have gotten quite better actually with various solutions and methods introduced.

In this Article, I am Using Updraft WordPress Plugin which is our most used plugin at cybernomadtv. Also we recommend our readers to use updraft, It’s free and covers most of the features you need to perform backups.

Also, if you are not a technical person. I would recommend these following Hosting Solutions, if you are planning to change or migrate wordpress hosting. They offer free migrations.

  1. Kinsta
  2. Dreamhost
  3. Siteground

Currently, we are with Dreamhost and I am quite satisfied with it’s performance and support. It’s actually the oldest web hosting provider based out of USA.

So, Let’s get started with the WordPress Backup Tutorial without wasting any time.

Even if your site got hacked, you have data backups stored.

You can store the backup data in:
