In this Blog Post, I am writing and sharing how you can setup “Push Notifications” on your wordpress website and blog.
Follow the tutorial till the end.

How to Setup Push Notifications for Website using OneSignal
OneSignal is a Software Company, priving push notifcation service and API for webmasters like us.
You can showcase Notifications bar on your website and capture leads and send automated notifications for visitors or users on various platforms like:

- Visit One Signal Website and Sign up for their plan.
- For this Tutorial, I am using the free version. By the time you are reading this article, I might have upgraded my subscription.

These are the plans provided by OneSignal.
- Free
- Growth
- Professional
- Enterprise
I am currently using the “Growth Plan” which costs $9/mo where I have limitless options to target my visitors.

- After you sign up, enter your details, as shown in the image above.

- Enter organization name, Website url and company size.
- Click Continue to enter into onesignal dashboard.

This is One Signal Homepage after we have created an account.
You can see list of platforms being supported by onesignal, such as:
- Apple IOS
- Google Android
- Web
- SMS
- Windows
- Amazon Fire
- Mac OS

- Now, let’s setup onesignal for your wordpress site.
- Refer the image above, and click wordpress
- Enter your website url and proceed.

- You will get 3 API Keys which you need to configure it into your wordpress website.
- Now, Let’s get into wordpress dashboard where we will configure those API Keys to setup push notifications on wordpress.

- Download One Signal WordPress Plugin, You can find it here
- Install the wordpress plugin and activate

- After the plugin installation, You can see 3 tabs in onesignal wordpress dashboard.
- Copy those 3 API Keys and paste it in WordPress Plugin Configuration settings

- As you can see, I have pasted the API Keys.
- Now Click Finish at One Signal Dashboard to finish the setup and installation.
- To verify your One Signal Push Notification setup, check your website homepage and it should look like this now, shown in the image below.
